A small shop. A long road behind it.
కుంటపల్లి నుంచి దంతాలపల్లి దాకా.
భవాని began on a hot summer morning in 2003 — not here, but in Kuntapally, a small village in Maddirala mandal, Suryapet district. The very first shelves held a little of everything the village asked for: కూరగాయలు fresh from the field, kiranam in glass jars, glass గాజులు stacked in colour order — and on the back wall, sacks of వడ్లు bought straight off our farmers' carts.
When the season turned, baskets of వేప కాయలు went out as quickly as they came in. The shop wasn't one thing — it was whatever the morning brought.
As the family grew, the shop grew with it. We moved to Danthalapally — closer to the road, closer to more homes — and what was once a brave little mix of vegetables, bangles and grain slowly settled into one steady thing: a proper కిరాణం & general store. Two villages, twenty-three years, one notebook of names we still know by heart.
If you forgot something on your way home — పప్పు, salt, a sachet of shampoo, a single matchbox — we've probably got it. And if we don't, we'll get it for you by tomorrow.
